| Relena was once the daughter of of the Earth Alliance's vice minister for foreign affairs. He was assassinated and before he passed on, he told Relena he was not her father. Instead of Relena Darlian, her real name was Relena Peacecraft. Relena was really part of the Peacecraft family who includes Zechs Merquise/Milliardo Peacecraft. The assassination forced Relena to take a step. She tries to convice officials to her beliefs of total pacifism. She believes this is the way that leads to true peace. As the series develops, she is introduced to the five Gundam pilots. She seems to fancy the pilot Heero Yuy. She acts strangly when she thinks of him. She often screams out his name, and asks Heero to kill her. Even though she may act odd, her ideals of total pacifism may be the path of peace. |
