| Zechs Merquise is OZ's top mobile suit pilot. Zechs often goes by the name, Lightning Baron (which suits his personality and fighting skills perfectly). Zechs is very clost to Treize, and he seems to be the only one who understands Treize (besides Lady Une). Zechs is a strong fighter that never gives up. He is confident and never underestimates his enemies. Zechs Merquise was Milliardo Peacecraft, Relena's older brother. Milliardo changed his name to Zechs Merquise when he joined the forces of OZ. He did this to protect the ideals of the Peacecraft family. We see him often change between the two names. He uses Zechs as a soldier of OZ, and Milliardo as an ambassador. With the help of the Gundam Epyon (built by Treize), Zechs/Milliardo has become the master soldier. |
