To say that no one knows much about it is a understatement. It only appeared in a handful of episodes during the end of the series. Before the episodes aired many people thought that Zechs piloted it, but it turned out to be Treize Khushrenada. This is cool since we only see Treize pilot a suit twice in the series. The first was when he represented the human pilots in a battle with the Mobile Doll Leos. The details of this suits origin are sketchy at best. I believe that it was built from the remains of the Tallgeese which Zechs self detonated earlier on in the series. Another possibility is that it was built from scratch before the huge space battle between the Earth and White Fang. It has the same overall abilities as its predecessor, but for some reason seems better. It stood toe to toe with the Altron in a duel between Treize and Wufei. However Wufei was only using his Beam Trident so the fight would be fair. It was in this battle that Treize died and the Tallgeese II with him. The Tallgeese II also has the same weapons as the original. The Dober Gun however seems to be upgraded. Instead of shooting in bursts of fire like the original it shoots a beam. It is also rumored that this suit had traces of Gundanium Alloy in its armor. |
