This was Captain Kirk's reward for saving the Earth and the galaxy numerous times. The new Enterprise-A was 305 metres long, and was Constitution class.

This ship was the second to bear the name, and was the last Enterprise to be commanded by Captain Kirk and his crew of Scotsmen, Africans, Japanese, Russians and Vulcans.
