Amazon rainforest
Only about 2-5% of the light reach the ground in primary rain forest.
Therefore, undergrowth is not very dense. The floor is covered by a thin layer of leaves.
One of the giant trees that grow up to more than 40 m hight.

The trunk is thickly covered in mosses, ferns and other epiphytes.
Heavy rainfalls leave floodpools in terra firme forest.
It is here, where some of the
arboreal frogs come down to breed.
