HEIDI VISITS WINE COUNTRY
Here I am in the hills near the Napa and Sanoma Valley. California's Wine Country. This is an area of dozens of vineyards, lots to see, and... taste! It's Spring and it's the best time to take a hike in the hills, everything is so green and the wildflowers are all in bloom
The air is so clean and the sounds of birds and Spring are in the air
Near the little town of Glen Ellen, there is an old State Hospital that is slowly being refurbished into social service facilities for the county.
The architecture and workmanship in the masonry is absolutely beautiful on this building. It's such a shame that it is in such neglect, probably earthquake unsafe...
Such a nice day to relax and take in the wonderful weather
In the Spring the wild mustard is in full bloom. There is even a Mustard festival in March! All the colors and the smells are so fresh and clean.
Shopping in the old town of Sanoma, is a delight, all the shops are so cute and the spanish influence can't be denied.
