| 20th DECEMBER 2002 Still fuck all to tell you apart from that our new website is due to be open on New Years day if i can manage to get over a hangover but anyway you can go to the first page and write on our message board and tell us what u thing of us if it's bullshit you talk you ain't fuckin heard us even though we ain't heard our selves but anyway the site address is www.angelfire.com/band2/skabbed Anyway Merry Christmas Guys and Happy New Year 5th SEPTEMBER 2002 We are changing our name to Skab and will create a new site for a fresh start. The reason for the changes was that we got bored with the name and nothing was really happening and there will hopefully be changes for the better. The line-up is still the same and it is unlikely that it will change. The address for the new site is www.angelfire.com/band2/skabmetal but it won't be ready until later this month. 15th AUGUST 2002 Sorry for the lack of updates but we haven't had any real news to put up. The album's being put back for a while don't know how long but we haven't got all of the instruments. So i'm expecting to get a bunch fucking abuse in the guestbook so if anybody does I'll just say fuck you in advance. We have well over 10 songs written so there'll be a good selection to put on any demos or albums. I'm disconnecting the e-mail because I've had a virus sent and the whole comp got fucked up so that's it for now. 21st JUNE 2002 The album might be put back to next year or the year after as we want it to be just right and we are still writing songs and we'll put the best on the album so expect about 10 songs or more when we do eventually record and Hellbound has lasted a full year although we've done fuck all. 14th JUNE 2002 Nothing much to update or anything. We have upto 5 songs being done and leaving school isn't going to break up the band. maybe more things will start to happen in the next few weeks but nothing much is happening. 16th MAY 2002 As this site is going to be down tomorrow I'd better fill you in on the latest and what possibly going to happen over the next few days. I've been coming up with some heavy riffs which I wiil probably work on over the next few days. Danny's wanting to learn to play guitar now so he will possibly take kyles place. We have had some songs being written and we're trying to put improvements into them. The next I will probably update will be Monday and all I have to says is exams suck cock. Rock On Mother Fuckers! 14th MAY 2002 Just some news on the cover album. We're going to record a couple of songs on to tape as we don't have the money to afford decent equipment. The Cover album will be free so we don't benefit from the other bands songs. Fear Of The Dark by Iron Maiden is a definate and either Enter Sandman, Sad But True, Master Of Puppets or Wherever I May Roam by Metallica will be recorded in the next week or so. A release should be expected with our debut demo towards the end of the year. 12th MAY 2002 We have fired Kyle because he can't play. 5th MAY 2002 As you know there have been some changesto the band.We've decided to have Danny as the Band Manager and he can get us gigs and shit like that. We can't see Kyle being in the band too long as we've found out he can't play jackshit. We've been thinking of cover songs to do and the songs we have thought of doing are: 1.Metallica - Master Of Puppets (Short Version) 2.Metallica - Enter Sandman 3.Metallica - Sad But True 4.Thin Lizzy/Metallica - Whiskey In The Jar 5.Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark 6.Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden 7.Skid Row - 18 And Life 8.Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild 9.KoRn - Falling Away From Me 10.The Wildhearts - Shut Your Fucking Mouth And Use Your Fucking Brain So you can expect to see a cover album from us. We have 3 songs being written and we'll hopefully be able to finish writing in the next few months and hopefully be able to record an album late this year or next year. So hopefully we'll be playing a few gigs next year and I fucking hope so. |
