NMD:RECHARGED features a darker, sinister theme than it's predecessor and graphics with a total change in level appearances and many other improvements.
In this version i also incorporate the many enhancements to the Classic NMD which were made by my talented partner Saeed Ali a.k.a DOOM.

1. Just place the RECHARGED.WAD into your main wad directory and add it to the DOOM.WAD in the Doomsday wad menu to play.
2. Make sure you rename the NMD.DED into TEXT.DED and place the file into Defs/JDoom directory. Say "yes" when prompted to overwrite. If you do not do that, you'll keep getting the dull text messages/end texts from Doom.
3. Do not use any model or texture packs with JDoom, - or it will not work.
4. Have alot of medieval fantasy fun!!!
Project NMD is a new medieval-fantasy graphic TC for the Ultimate Doom and subsequently will be released also for Doom2 and the TNT/Plutonia. It's idea is to bring the action mechanics of Doom into the beautiful gothic medieval world of magic and fantasy of Hexen and Heretic. And yes Ladies and Gentlemen - this idea was implemented in the Project NMD.
NMD may not appeal that much to Doom fans, but that is not for whom it was made in the first place... ;-) haha...
Heretic and Hexen fans will find this graphic conversion most satisfying. Because even though we all love the inredible Hexen, and Heretic is although irresistable (especially with the fixes of the WRATH OF MAGIC mod ;-)...) - still -
The mechanics of the Doom gameplay are not present in either of them...
So now, get ready for the final chapter of your classic medieval collection: experience the dungeon magic&mayhem in all three glorious fashions: you have the Hexen, you have the Heretic, - and now - you've got the NMD!
Still, the NMD comes with it's own set of weapons, items and bad guys - though all of them are coverted Doom fellows, not all things are as they look...so - i wanted to represent here the details of NMD1:
NMD is not particularly rich on the story line, but it does have it's own shadowy plot. As a great Hexen Warrior you have watched that a DreamRealm named Ether, which was inhabited by spirits normally invisible to human eyes - is being invaded by the monsters you have defeated in the battles of long ago...
Korax - the Second most powerful Serpent Rider was resurrected! Could it be that there is a greater force pulling the strings?
Embracing your call of the Hero, you plunge into the action-adventure that awaits you in the dark dungeons ahead...
But somehow, after all those long years - the things are not as they appear to be...
The time has changed the magical artifacts that once had brought you victory...and even the enemy had changed it's ranks and ways...
Not that it ever would stop you...
