NMD DETAILS PAGE
THE OPPOSITION:

  -
Mage Apprentice. As all the Mage Class enemies - he does not have to use fireballs, lighting or any other kind of projectile elemental magic. He can unleash his destructive energy straight down on you if in sight.
While the weakest of the clan, he still packs a punch while in groups.

 
- Dark Apprentice. A much more powerful wizard that can pose a serious threat if left unnoticed in the dungeon shadows. One lethal blast from the hands of this black-robed wanderer can send you one foot in the grave...
- Mage Master. Beside being tougher than the two of above together, he also carries the Storm Gauntlets
for a weapon. And he is more than willing to prove to you that this mighy artifact is absolutely not to mess around with. Eleminate him as soon as you see him. He might not see you first, - so take advantage. Fortunately for you, you encounter this one only in NMD2.
- Dark Spirit. Once these spirits were the souls of fallen heroes, but now corrupted by the evil spells they roam the realms thirsting for blood of those who still remain living. Fire on sight if you notice one. Crossbow, or the Lightbringer are the best.
-The Hell Guardian. The actual replacements of the Hellbeasts. They float in the air and have no need of tracking you down on foot. Once they see you, they fire swift and devastating balls of flame that explode on contact. Several of these monsters in close/moderate space can give you a tough fight. Bring the Hellstaff or the Lightbringer to get rid of them fast. Or if you have the right distance - then the Infernal Wand does it even faster.

Fire Imps...trying to resist chaingun fire.Invain. However, in tight quarters it will be you who will have trouble resisting their attacks
- The Minotaur. A very mean beast. Massive in size, they are very durable to all your weapons.  Armed with magical hammers they can crush you bits in a few moments up close, and if things go long-range for the Minotaur - he can cast acid fireballs at you that are fast and just as deadly. Don't get caught with one of these in tight corridors. Othserwise - get the Lightbringer or the Infernal Wand.
- Korax. This Dark Entity needs no introduction. But now he has been resurrected by unknown force, and blocks your path once again. He is also much tougher than before. And this time, there are no Icons ofThe Defender
on this journey....
- The Archmage. Little is known of the Archmage beside the legends. Yet so far no warrior fought him and returned alive. No one knows either where he came from, while others presume that the Archmage appears straight from the Gates of Hell...
What is known, that among the ranks of the Dark Mages - he is infamous for commanding tremendous arcane powers that nobody ever even thought of possibility of mastering.... Make sure you have a solid cover when fighting him.
THE FIREARMS:
- Magical Crossbow. Your first weapon beside the Golden Wand. Having this little force-charger makes difference in being victorious or dead - since you will use it alot. Time well it's reloads, for they are not that fast. It is pretty powerful against most of the NMD monsters. AMMO: MAGICAL ARROWS
- The Storm Gauntlets. There are two kinds of  gauntlets in the world of NMD: Spirit and Storm. And they have very little in common. While the Spirit Gauntlets although powerful - but do any good only at extremely close range. The Storm Gauntlets on the other hand - they allow you to fire thunder magic missiles at your foes at high speeds.
Storm Gauntlets are effective against game's moderate opponents, but get useless against the meaner beasts and they also go fast through ammunition.
AMMO: STORM GRAIN/STORM CRYSTAL
- LIGHTBRINGER. The Lightbringer appears only in NMD2. It is a very powerful weapon ant close range and quite good at mid-range. When used, it fires a flash of a holy white light which tears demons apart from inside. It will be your weapon of choice many times. Just remember that it reloads about twice slower than a crossbow - and eats twice as ammo. AMMO: CONVERTS MAGICAL ARROWS
STAFF of THUNDERSTORMS

A well known favorite of killing monsters real fast.
It is powered by THUNDER ORBS and it holds a very generous supply of ammunition.
The only problem is, beside it being rare - that whenever this artifact is found - a really powerful foes lay in ambush nearby...
- The Hellstaff. This is the most powerful weapon available for you to lay your hands on.
While it does not have the speed of the Thunder Staff, it is just as potent.
. When used, the Hellstaff unleashes rains of flame magic missiles at fair speeds. Those missiles burst into flames on impact. This weapon is practically unstoppable and has a great ammo capacity.
AMMO:HELLRUNES
-SPELLBOOK OF DOOM. Another mighty weapon that feeds on the Thunder Orbs. It charges and extremely powerful blast of energy and launches it forward. The energy sphere exlodes after a few moments decimating anything in sight. All good, but then again, you'll choose the Thunder Staff or The Hellstaff most the time instead.
OTHER ITEMS YOU MAY FIND
Adventurer's Pack - doubles the capacity of ammunition that you can carry.
Chain
Armor - grants 100 armor points for protection. Maximally up to 100.
Battle
Armor - grants 200 armor points of protection. Maximally up to 200.
Enchanted Armor Shard - grants 1 armor point. Can go beyond 100 but not more than 200.
Magical Armor - this armor is time based and grants you magical protection against harm while walking on lava or swamp or acid. Make sure you do not waste it's valuable gift invain. There is no indication how long the armor lasts, but when the screen starts flickering - it means get your feet back on safe ground right now.
Cure Light Wounds - grants 1 health point. Can go beyond 100 but maximally up to 200.
Magical Vial - grants 10 health points. Maximally up to 100.
Enchanted Flask - grants 25 health points. Maximally up to 100
Book of Restoration - grants 100 health points. Maximally up to 200.
Torch - illuminates the area for a short time.
Demonpack - this curious artifact not only grants you 100 health points (up to 100 MAX), but also bestows your staff with awesome strike power - that while attacking with it you can splatter moderate beasts in one hit! The Demon effect lasts one level. When in posession of the Demonpack your screen goes bloodshot-red for a short while first.
RING OF INVINCIBILITY - renders you invulnerablefor a short while
ARMOUR OF THE GODS - 200 Armor + 100 health!
IT IS ALSO KNOWN, THAT THE CASTLES OF NMD ARE FULL OF SECRET PLACES...NOT THAT IT MEANS I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHERE THEY ARE....
