DESCRIPTION: Standard for external cards for HF-6048 system


Standard Info

This standard was introduced by HF-6408 extender connector, which is used to interface external cards for HF-6048 digital system. Basically it is LPT type connector to female goldpin 2x13. External cards must be equipped with 2x13 male goldpins connectors (2.54 mm). Recently it is little bit forgotten system and no new module are planned. But maybe I will return to HF-6048 digital system later.

Similiar but not compatible interfaces

There is also another interface system used in HF-6048 for interfacing: HF-6068 which is smaller 1x14 goldpin to LPT extender connector, not compatible with HF-10048 standard.
Also mobile memory HF-6421 can be connected directly to HF-6048 LPT connector (it is made inside LPT connector case).
