Project Info

In 1990s circuit diagram of CW key ETM5C has been reprinted in polish magazine for radioamateurs "Krótkofalowiec Polski" which as a member of PZK I was receiving. But probably german firm ETM made deliberate errors in this circuit diagrams and polish electronic "experts" from KP never checked this diagram before publication. I made my own designed double sided PCB TPD13521 for this, what was very difficult for me at that time, but as I remember it was very well designed and well miniaturized (all elements fitted exactly almost whole PCB). But it doesn't worked! Unfortunatelly my knowledge as a young radioamateur about digital circuits in 1990s wasn't so good to detect problem and remedy this.. so PCB goes to trash, elements were desoldered and project was never accomplished. I made my own key instead: HF-2820 which was fully my own design. It was very simple 2 TTL circuit but worked and I really made some QSOs on it. The same case HF-9102 and armature HF-7228 was used. Armature project was taken from russian magazine "Radio", it was double paddled mechanism with spring.

So Comrades, there is very good lesson from that story: never belive capitalistic press as well as other capitalistic mass media... They are always lying...
