SP8WJT/HF8V - RED ARMY RADIOTELEGRAPH SIMULATOR - SP8WJT/HF8V ================ | US AIR FORCE | ================ Including AAC/AAF ver. 4. 29 (this file is not complete) OVERVIEW: USAF was created after 2WW, befeore military aviation was divided by Army and Navy. Before it was created almost all trafic was already shifted to voice and radiotelx. Thus only very small part of this organisation ever used CW, including some bases and very few long range aircrafts, etc. Same as in the Navy both international and tactical callsigns has been used. Army aviation organisation was AAF - Army Air Force or AAC - Army Air Corps. This file constains both AAC/AAF and USAF information. During 2WW CW traffic was huge. There was hundreds of thosands of aircrafts, and all bigger 2-engine aircrafts almost always carried radiooperator. SIMULATION: 01. USAF FIXED NETWORK (1950s) 02.
