Netria viridescens Geographical Range
uncertain, the species group is recorded from the Oriental tropics to New Guinea; China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hunan, Sichuan, Hainan) (Holloway, 1983; Schintlmeister [1991],1992; Peng & Liu, 1992; Schintlmeister & Fang, 2001). 

In Hong Kong
Distribution: widespread.
Status: common; only recorded in woodlands.
Adult Phenology: multivoltine, recorded in all months except August, peaks from February to April and in June.
Taxonomic note
the name viridescens encompases a species group, whose taxonomy is yet to be fully worked out. At least two species of this group have been recorded in southern China (Schintlmeister & Fang, 2001).
