8/1965 'Back in My Arms Again' is the 5th
consecutive #1 (one week) for the Supremes, the first artists
to do so on Billboard. Their next single, 'Nothing But Heartaches'
fails to reach the top ten, breaking their string of #1's.
21/1968 The Supremes release 'Some Things You Never
Get Used To'. This marks the first collaboration between Diana Ross
and the husband/wife team, Ashford and Simpson.
17/1964 "Where Did Our Love Go" becomes the first of twelve singles
to go to #1 on Billboard.
18/1964 'Where Did Our Love Go' is first single
to hit #1 (two weeks) after nine consecutive "flops."
24/1967 'Reflections' is first release by the group
now known as Diana Ross and the Supremes.

begins touring the country, starring
Marvin Gaye, The Miracles, The Supremes, Mary Wells, and Little Stevie Wonder;
the tour ends with a four night show at New York's Apollo Theater
17/1964 The Supremes 'Baby Love' becomes their second

Toward the final years with the Supremes, Diana Ross often recorded with
The Andantes who later sang background for her as a solo artists. Some
of the songs that Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong did not sing on: Love
Child, Someday We'll Be Together.
