Robert W. Honnoll (William) was born 6 Nov 1798, York Co., South Carolina, married 10 Sep 1818, in Dickson Co., Tennessee to Jane McGanghen, born 10 Oct 1800, South Carolina died 18 Jul 1886, Monroe Co., Mississippi. Robert died 18 Aug 1870, Monroe Co., Mississippi.  Both are buried at Egger Cemetery,  Caledonia, Lowndes Co., Mississippi

The State of Mississippi,
County of MONROE.
         On this nineteenth day of December A. D. one thousand eight  hundred and fifty personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid, authorised by law to  administer oaths for general purposes Robert Honnoll  aged 52 years, a resident of the County of Monroe in the State of Mississippi who  being duly sworn according to Law, declares that he is the identical Robert Honnoll who was a private in the company commanded by Captain Samuel Crawford in the 2nd Regiment of Tennessee Cavalry commanded by Col. Thomas Williamson in the War of the United States with the Seminole nation of Indians.  That he volunteered at Fayetteville, Tennessee in the fall (as he thinks) of the year A. D. 1817 for the term of five months and was honorably discharged at Columbia, Tennessee in the spring of the year A. D. 1818 as the Muster Rolls of said Company will show, he received a certificate of discharge, which was destroyed by fire, in the burning of his dwelling house.
        He makes this declaration for the purpose of obtaining the bounty Land to which he may be entitled under the act granting Bounty Land to certain Officers and soldiers, who have been engaged in the Military service of the United States, passed September 28th, 1850.

According to WAR OF 1812 CLAIM OF WIDOW FOR SERVICE PENSION, Robert W. Honnoll, at the time of his enlistment in 1814 in Dixon (Dickson) Co., Tennessee, was Age 16, former, York Dist, SC.  Fair complexion, Blue Eyed, Five feet high.  He was a private in the Company of Capt. Hudson, Tennessee Militia.
