Ramble Information

WHERE? Map (pdf format 65K) This is an annual no frills motorcycle event held the first week end in November. The location is Gulpha Gorge National Park Campground on Gorge Road (Hwy 7S or 70B on old maps) which connects Hwy 7 north to Hwy 70 east, Hot Springs, Ark. Coordinates: N34 31.494 W93 02.193. The campground is secluded but adjoins a city with many tourist amenities.

COST? Donations of $2 are appreciated to help defer expenses. Camping sites are available for $10 per night ($5 with golden age pass) payable at the campground registration building. We suggest that campers share sites with fellow riders to reduce expenses.

WHAT? The Ramble provides an excellent hub for motorcyclist to enjoy riding the great motorcycling roads in the Ozark Mountains which often abound in autum color. We enjoy great fellowship around the camp-fire-barrel and all brands are welcome. We provide a guided tour for the local mountain switchbacks and information for suggested optional day-trip tours. Spa-baths, plenty of restaurants and motels are nearby.

Park rangers require that all vehicles remain on pavement. Attendance is relatively small compared to large club sponsored events, but that makes for better mixing and sharing of riding stories. Join us if you can!
