Throughout 1991, the band recorded a lot of material on their four-track. All the tapes were dubbed in such small amounts that now are almost impossible to find. From what I have gathered, the band sold these tapes mainly at gigs and gave them out to some lucky people, including the kids who worked at Rough Trade (who were also doing Wiiija). Some more info I got about these tapes from an inside source: "They were mostly noise and kind of goofy pop songs."--Update, I got a copy of one of their demo's from late 1991 and it is indeed very poppy and noisy sounding. There is more info in the Bootlegs section. Another update--during this period Matthew from Heavenly was on drums and Karen was the bassist.
