Matt Anderson recorded this record while the band was in San Diego during the U.S. tour in 1993. There guest brass players (Dirty, the Unwound roadie and some other guy) on some of the record. This record shows the new direction the band was going in, which would later be mastered on the Weaponry Listens To Love LP/CD. I have also heard many complaints from people in regards to the muddy recording quality but it still manages to capture the sound of the band at the time, although a better recording would have helped the songs. There actually is better recordings of the a-side from the 2nd Peel Session the band did. This 7" was also the first release with the new line-up without Jon on guitar. In an interview a while back, Matt Anderson said the record had sold over 6,000 copies at the time. This 7" may still be available from Mordam direct, but it is now officially out of print thru Gravity (I think).
