Dr. Gero is a mad scientist who used to work for the notorious group, the Red Ribbon Army. he was pretty much the brains and the scientific genious of the group. He was the only one who lived because Goku killed them all. His idea was, why have thousands of weaklings when you could have one supreme person, so he made the Androids. He also made himself and Android so he could be powerful too. Android 17 killed him.
