Dende is a young child from the Planet Namek, Piccolo's homeland, who has healing powers. He saves the lives of Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo. He was killed by Frieza, but was wished back. He took over the thrown of Protector of Earth when Kami fused with Piccolo. He made new Dragonballs because Kami fused with Piccolo.
