About the Jackson Township Fire Dept.

Jackson Township Fire Dept. proudly protects an area of 97 square miles. We operate out of
ONE station that protects primarily a rural area. Our department is a public department whose
members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We have an ISO rating of 8.  The
department. has 29 members, including 13 who are E.M.T.'s, two Paramedics, and two Haz Mat
Technicians. The department responds to approximatelly 500 to 600  fire & medical runs per year.
