Responsibilities:
- Business Development
- Planning marketing activities which include exhibitions, promotions, strategy
formulation for selling, distribution enhancement, barter agreements
- Setting budget projections and achievement
- Designing lay-outs and artworks for direct clients
- Raising invoices to advertisers and ensuring settlement within the due
credit period
- Attending press conferences and events and collating information for editorial
and marketing usage
- Regular liaison with Advertising Agency from briefing of concept to final
copy of promotional materials/media kits, and coordinating with print and
production departments under tight deadlines
- Database management (in ACT) of companies classified industry-wise
- Negotiating barter deals for holding companies in exchange for advertising
in publications
- The job involves frequent travel abroad to develop new business through
client meetings, participation at international exhibitions and conferences,
setting up of booth and organizing POP materials. Countries travelled to date
are Germany, Holland, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain, India and Oman
