SeaBuzz
For those of you who are wondering what SeaBuzz is ... Well, it is when I put on my "critique" hat and express my views on current movies or video releases that I had watched and had found worth recommending or "damning". I had been doing that for more than 5 years now, when it all started with the first review of the movie "Dead Man Walking". Since then, I had written countless reviews, most of which had been complained to be too long. Ha! Ha!
Most of the movies that I am reviewing are mostly those that I had found enjoyable and would like to share with all of you. No two beings are similar and we are all subject to our own intepretations and feelings towards the movies listed here. If you do have any comments that you would like to bring up, they are most welcome.
Some of these films here may not be available in the country that you reside in, which is unfortunate, but they may serve as a gauge for your next video night, or when you decide to live somewhere eventually which has a better video collection, like in Australia, America or even Japan. I have to warn ahead that I can be rather sentimental in my choices of movies and my gradings for these movies because I personally feel that a good movie is one that is able to strike a chord or move you. All can be very subjective because a lot depends on your mood when you were watching the movie at that time as well. It can also affect the way you behave or think in the future, which is why one can never underestimate the power of movies.
In future, I would like to present a list of my favourite movies and a little review of them, which will no doubt take a very long time to materalize. If you like what you have read, do feel free to share it with your friends or even better, share your views via email, so that I can post it on this webpage under your name as well. Have Fun!!!
Movie Grading :
A - Excellent - Must See
B - Good
C - Fair - Alright
D - Dreadful - Don't Bother.
P.S. The reader will seldom find a movie that is rated D by me because due to limited financial resources, I have to be very selective about the movies that I can afford to watch, so most of the movies are scrutinized for good value before I head to the box-office. Most of the slapstick comedies or brainless action pic will usually garner such a rating but since I refuse to watch them, I will not have to review them, though I respect everyone and anyone's opinion of such movies. My advice : Stand by your decision.
