17 miles from Okara it is an ancient town situated on a mound on an old bed of Beas and is presumably as old as Harappa. Old coins of Scythian kings have been discovered. The town is studded with ruins of ancient buildings. A notable building in the town is the temple of Babu Lal Jas Raj.
13 miles south of Harappa, contains a mound. Pottery and other articles found show that here was a town contemporary to Harappa.
