Materials: Newspaper; flour; water; old flower pot; gloss paint

1.   Tear the newspaper into small pieces and soak them in water.  

2.   When they are soft and pulpy, drain off water and add flour to make a dough.  

3.   Turn the flower pot upside down and spread the mush over the outside of the pot.  

4.   Make a pattern by pressing your fingers and thumbs into the mache.  Leave to dry thoroughly. 

5.   When it is dry, paint with gloss paint inside and out.
