Materials: Coffee jar lid; plaster of Paris; candle; natural objects (shells, cones, pebbles)

1.   Mix the plaster of Paris with water and pour into the coffee lid.

2.   Before the plaster sets, stand a candle in the middle and decorate around it with natural objects.

3.   When the plaster is dry, decorate the outside of the lid by sticking on coloured paper or shells.

If you haven't got plaster of Paris, use plasticine or blue tac to stick the candle into the lid.
