Tin-can cookers are great for cooking pancakes on. We once tried burgers and they turned out OK as well.
Materials: 1 large tin can (the tins that coffee come in are ideal); hammer and nail; candle, tea-light or container with methylated spirits in
1. With the nail, hammer holes into the tin can. To ensure that you don't squash the can, put a piece of wood inside it.
2. Light the candle, tea-lights or meths and place the tin can over the top.
3. Cook on the bottom of the tin can - and enjoy!
