Uncooled Fudge

Ingredients: 300ml milk; 800g sugar; 100g butter; 2tsp vanilla essence

1.    Bring the milk slowly to the boil then add the butter and sugar and stir until all is dissolved. 

2.    Bring the mixture to the boil and cover and boil for 2 minutes. 

3.    Uncover and boil for 10-15 minutes, then stir in the vanilla.  

4.    Leave to stand for 5 minutes. 

5.    Pour into a square tin that has been greased with butter and leave to set. 

6.    When it is nearly set, cut into squares while still in the tin
