Located in the menu Live images is a link to live webcams located at Charlotte-Douglas airport and also scattered around Charlotte (I-77 and Uptown Charlotte).

This is an Aeronautical Chart of the Charlotte-Douglas Class C airspace.

• One major fault of ATC is the inability to enter Class C airspace (the blue outlined area) until your aircraft is recognized by an air traffic controller, only after your aircraft is recognized can you enter the area, when a controllers workload is too much at times recognition can take up to an hour.

Located to the left is a RNAV route map of Charlotte-Douglas airport. this diagram shows the pathway for both takeoff and landing procedures. Plainly shown, every flight path intercepts with another at some point.

• If at anytime an air traffic controller is distracted the probability of an air collision is doubled.

Often times on a runway two aircrafts approuch the airfield from two different directions, as shown in the video one aircraft (blue) is approuching on a straight final while the other (purple) is turning from base to final approuch. If the ATC controller is not weary of the situation and the aircraft cannot make visual contact due to environment, such as fog, then a disastrous event could occur.
