This page is dedicated to the Top Toys run of Star Wars figures created in Argentina. The figures were molded from the Kenner run of figures rather than having their own original molds. The quality is rather poor and at times shotty. Just about every aspect including weapons is different when compared to the Kenner and Palitoy runs.

This Chewie differs, like all Top Toys figures, in that he is missing the holes in his feet. The pouch near his leg is also unpainted, making him easily identifiable loose. His weapon is also tinted green, similar to the Early Bird Chewie. The weapon also differs in that it is missing the arm-harnessing device. The folks at Top Toys also meant to paint Chewie's lips white, but it looks more like a milk mustache! Because all Top Toys figures were molded from existing Kenner figures, they are all a bit smaller in height.

Logray (pictured on the far right) is probably the most unique of the Top Toys line, based on his drastic differences from the Kenner line. His weapons are just a little smaller than the Kenner versions. His helmet is unpainted, and he is much darker in color than any of the other Logray variations.

It's bit hard to tell the differences between the Kenner and Top Toys Darth Vader (pictured on the right) past the cape. The cape seems to be made out of some type of pleather. The saber is also much more orange then the normal Vader. The height difference is definitely more apparent between the Darth Vader figured.

This is my Top Toys figure collection. I need a better Top Toys Luke figure and a Yoda to complete my collection. Top Toys only made 7 different figures total.

Even though all of the Top Toys weapons are different than the Kenner/Palitoy types, the Stormtrooper and the Chewie Bowcaster are the most visually drastic.

I got a good price for this Luke. He is pictued on the right in horrible condition. It seems to be extraordinarily difficult to get a Top Toys Luke Jedi at all. The height difference here is painfully obvious when compared to the Kenner version.

This is probably the least exciting of the Top Toys variations. Top Toys didn't even call him Chief Chirpa. They called him El Osito Ewok (pictured on the right).

This is a shot of the back of two cards. On one card they add Lando and Logray at the very bottom, and if you ask me, it doesn't look right. I assume they corrected it. They also list Boba Fett in the upper portion of both cards, but he is not pictured. Another interesting aspect about the cardbacks is that the bottom picture is almost always out of focus. The card also uses 12-Back artwork, which is highly unusual.
