           Funeral services for Harry C. Goss, 88 of Texhoma, where held Monday at 2 p.m. at the First baptist Church of Texhoma with Rev. John Goss, pastor, officiating. Burial and Masonic graveside rites where held in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of Dawson-Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma. Goss, born Nov. 20, 1880, in Howard, Kansas, died Friday, Ocotber 10, 1069 at Memorial Hospital in Guymon following a lengthy illness. H moved to Griggs community from KIngman, Kansas, in the early 1930's and later moved into Texhoma, where he had made his home until jhis death.
            Goss was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Coldwater, Kansas, Comanche Masonic Lodge No. 296, and the Texhoma American Legion Post No, 252. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Roy Bogges of Fairland, Okla., Bertha Goss of New Mexico, Pearl Baines of California and Eva Ross of Kingman, Kansas.

         Jerome Wiley Goss, 85, brother of Mrs. Eva Ross of Kingman, died March 11, at Pennock's Rest Home, where he was a patient for eight months. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services will be in Texhoma, OK.

          Word was receivec today of the death of Jerome Wiley Goss, age 84. He passed away March 11, at a nursing home in Kingman, Kansas. He was born in Howard, Kansas, December 12, 1884. He had been residing at Kingman for about nine months. His father was Wiley Goss, and his mother was Mary Darth. He had one brother Harry Goss of Meade, Kansas, and four sisters: Mrs. ray Boggis of Farlin, Oklahoma, Bertha Goss, New Mexico, Pearl Baines, California, Eva Ross, KIngman, Kansas. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Dawson-Welch Funeral Home making arrangements.

  Funeral services for Jimmie Goss, 72, Kansas City, and formerly of the West Plains area, were 2 p.m. today, Thursday, May 10, 2001, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, with the Rev. Fred Hamby officiating.
  Mr. Goss died 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City.  He was born Jan. 23, 1929, at Roosevelt, the son of Luey and Lucinda Stubbs Goss.
  On July 23, 1947, he was married at Salem, Ark., to Mabel Upton.
  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
  Survivors include his wife, Mabel Goss, of the family home; five children, Glen Goss and wife, Tamera, West Plains, Ina May Brown and husband, Gary, Independence, Charlene Ann Black and husband, Bobby, and Nancy Ileane Dunaway and husband, Larry, all of Kansas City, and Connie Marie Wiechman and husband, Robert, Omaha, Neb.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bennie Goss and wife, Myrtle, Willow Springs; three sisters, Lottie Collins, West Plains, Minnie Blumer, Jeffereson City, and Jennie Donley, state of California; and several nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald Goss; one great-granddaughter, Abby Lee; three brothers, Aut, Dennie and Otis; three sisters, Vennie Shelton, Glenna Croney and Gracie Goss; and one infant sister.
  Burial was in Horton Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
