James M. Gregory
James M. Gregory, 58, died April 17, 196 at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, MO. He was born January 12, 1938 in Mountain View, MO to Lynn Carlton and Edna Hannah (Moore) Gregory. He married Maxine Luton and to this union two children were born. He later married Mary K. Jackson on December 7, 1970 in Mountain View.
He was prededed in death by his parents and one sister, Laura Sanoskie, Pittsburg, PA.
James is survived by his wife Kay of the home in Mountain View; one son, Gary Gregory and wife Mary of Willow Springs, MO; one daughter Karen Barks and husband Tim of West Plains, MO; four brothers, Carl Gregory and wife Hallie, Davisville, MO, Calvin Gregory and wife Janice, Willow Springs, Irvin Gregory and wife Louise, Gray Summit, MO., and Charlie Gregory and wife Penny, Springfield, MO; six sisters, Francis Norton and husband Jack, Willow Springs, Anna Murry and husband Nelson, Fayetteville, TN, Juanita Ruby and husband George, Creal Springs, IL, Rose Clark and husband Tom, Willow Springs, Susie Younger and husband Perk, Mountain View, and Mary Perry and husband Jack, Mountain View; four grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
James lived most of his life in the Mountain View area. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Mountain View.
Funeral services were held April 20, 1996 in the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Mountain View, MO with Reverend Shane Ogle officiating. Interment was in the Hutton Valley Cemetery.
