(Dobbs Gilmore) Grisham

Funeral services for Lorena Chrystal Dobbs Gilmore Grisham, 95, of Mountain Grove, formerly of Dora, were held Thursday, June 21, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains. Burial was in Sweeton Pond Cemetery.
Mrs. Grisham died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove. She was born June 25, 1905, in Dora, the daughter of Tommy and Ora (Fox) Dobbs.
She married Ned Gilmore Dec. 24, 1919. Mr. Gilmore died in 1926. On Aug. 25, 1929, she married Dale Lee "Red" Grisham at Tucumcari, N.M. Mr. Grisham died Dec. 15, 1995.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dora for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, caring for livestock and the flowers in her yard.
Mrs. Grisham is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Grisham of Dora; two grandsons, Gene Grisham and Gary Grisham and his wife, Sheena, all of Dora; two great-grandsons, Jeremy Grisham of Nixa and Randall Grisham of Dora; four great-granddaughters, Nicole Grisham and Leslie Grisham, both of Dora, Krista Grisham of West Plains and Michaela Grisham of St. Louis; two great-great-grandsons, Kenny Grisham and Brayden Grisham; one brother, George B. Dobbs and his wife, Betty, of West Plains; one sister, Mary Reistroffer and her husband, Gene; four sisters-in- law, Lois Dobbs, Mable Wilson and Marie Wilson, all of West Plains and Joan Dobbs of Stockton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Ned Gilmore and Dale Grisham; her parents; her stepmother; one son, Sammy Grisham; one sister, Esta Heany; and six brothers, Luther Dobbs, Noah Dobbs, Les Wilson, Darrel Wilson, John Dobbs and Ed Dobbs.
