Orville Gunter services Saturday

  Funeral services for Orville Lee Gunter, 95, West Plains, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
  Mr. Gunter died 4:15 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2000, in Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.  He was born Aug. 27, 1904, at Dora, the son of W. E. "Bud" and Sarah Melvina Mayfield Gunter.
  On Oct. 22, 1927, he was married in Ozark County to Ethel Mettie Collins, who preceded him in death Jul7 3, 1988.
  Mr. Gunter was a member of the Church of Christ.
  Survivors include either children, Norman Gunter and wife, Betty, William Gunther and wife, Evalee, Bob Gunter and wife, Barbara Lou, and Barbara Gunter, all of West Plains, Louise Morris, Lee's Summit, and Anna Gunter, Janet Jeffery and husband, Wendell, and Joyce Crawford and husband, Bob, all of Springfield; 10 grandhcildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one daughter, Lucille Gunter; one grandson, Ricky Gunter; one great-great-grandson, James Mark Rokos; one brother, John Gunter; and two sisters, Cora Walker and Elsie Wade.
Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
