Willis Gilbert Services Tuesday

   Funeral services for Willis Gilbert, 82, West Plains, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with Evangelist Laverne Stewart officiating.
   Mr. Gilbert died Sunday at 3:40 a.m. in West Plains Memorial Hospital.  He was born April 19, 1895, at Douglas County, Mo., the son of the late John and Linda Johnson Gilbert.
   On Nov. 22, 1914, he was married at Pomona, Mo., to Iva Mae Collins.  He had been a member of Pilot Lodge No. 182 AF and AM at Dora for 49 years and is a past director of the Oak Grove School District.  Mr. Gilbert had been a heavy equipment operator for the Howell County Road District and was a committeeman for Triple A Farm Program for Howell County.  For the past 25 years he had been a member of the Church of Christ with this membership being in the South Curry Street Church.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iva Collins of the home; three sons and three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Lois) Wood, West Plains; Harold Gilbert of the home; Mrs. Fred (Lillian Roberts, Nyssa, Ore.; Edmund Gilbert, West Plains; Dale Gilbert, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Neal ( Marilyn) Thornton, Ray Town, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers and three sisters, Charlie Gilbert, West Plains; Oliver Collins, Pomona; Cora Cunningham and Ella Collins, Willow Springs; and Elsie Simmler, Drumright, Okla.
   Preceding him in death are his parents, two daughters, two sons, two brothers and one sister.
   Masonic graveside services will be held by Pilot Lodge 182 with George Collins as worshipful master.  Interment will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.

Neal Thornton and family, Raytown, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. David Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Gilbert, Omaha, Neb.; David Collins, Berkeley, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Loys Long, Pottersville;  Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thornton, Velt Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Collins and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Collins; Mr. and Mrs.. Floyd Brown, Mr. and Mrs.. Arthur Collins, MR. and Mrs. Raymond Gilbert,  Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pierce, MR. and Mrs..    Interment was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
