The Pillar of Fire

The Paraclete called me from above
The Seals were broken; the Bowls overturned
The Blood and Fire mingled with Hail
A Sign appeared on the Seventh DayBeatific vision divinely intervened
I was sinking swiftly into the Sea of Dreams
A voice called faintly; I almost didn’t hear
Thoughts were overwhelmed; I succumbed to fear
He was borne upon the wings of a Dove
I shielded my eye from the blinding heat
The Pillar of Fire swept me off my feet
I saw as the Earth was thoroughly burned
The surface masked by poisoned clouds
I heard the cries of the dying crowds
The lands were thrashed by a thousand gales
The cities sank into the Sea
I witnessed All that is to be
A brilliant Star with Seven Rays
The Trumpets blared; the New Age began
And thus awaits the Flock of Man
