He has background in karate (a necessity for a fighter), and a nerd because of being intelligent in some areas, but his funky appearance doesn't make him a nerd. He is chosen to become Sei Red because of his balance in brawn and brains.

The busybody and the quick Mitsui is Sei Blue because his strength represents the turtle, and his speed represents the snake. He is a good fighter, but he sometimes goofs around. Mitsui is a risky fellow because you will never know what will happen next if he acts. Sometimes the team likes him, sometimes not, but everyone needs him in fighting the everyday crimes.

Like any bubbly and sporty girl, Hikari is a very cheerful, friendly member of SeiRanger, which makes her to become Sei Yellow. Hikari wants to be called by her first name, unlike the two. She provides the comic relief for the party, but sometimes, she is very emotional. She's very careful and alert, and always prove that girls are fighters too by being a super sentai fan. She invented the name Fuhen Sentai Seiranger.

An Obsardian who's loyal and friendly to others. He even wants to play along with Hikari's idea to become a Super Sentai hero. Even though he doesn't get some earthly ideals (only ideas from the brain that he ate), he wants to try anything new. His first priority is to restore balance of element in his planet, but he is also a member of the Seiranger, so it's also valuable to him. He pursues what he wants to do, like a tiger aiming at its prey.
