A classic view around 1990 of four Ford R-Series buses with Willowbrook bodywork; a JMT standard in the early 1970s. The two outer buses date from 1975 and are different in detail to the two older buses in the middle. These are pictured towards the end of their lives and of the four, only number 7 on the left was not scrapped straight from service, instead passing to the Western Fire Station in St Brelade in the mid 1990s although in a mildly cannibalised state.

JMT's parent company also owns the Living Legend tourist attraction which opened in 1992, so 7 and twin 6 (J 33700) did receive overall adverts for that venue after this photograph was taken, as did two of the 1975 batch of Duple Dominants.

Some of the Willowbrooks (though none of those pictured above) moved to the UK in the early to mid 1980s when new buses were being delivered at such a rate that mid-life buses could be sold on for further service. It is possible that some of those still exist. The last example in service with JMT, number 14 of 1975, remarkably lasted until the end of summer 2000 at which point it was reportedly sold locally for conversion into a caravan and car transporter.
