J 61334

Representing the latest batch of Dennis Dart buses to enter service in 1998, J 61334 keeps Swift 46 company at the bus station shortly after arrival in Jersey. It features the new "Jersey bus" fleetnames that have started to appear, as well as the day-glo destination blinds that the first 10 Darts did not have. The JMT deliveries of conventional Darts as opposed to the SLF low-floor variant is becoming increasingly the exception to the norm in the British Isles, owing to the extra width required to body the low-entrance buses, and the extra length needed to maintain seating capacity. How much longer this will be the case remains to be seen.
