The Red Houses crossroads has been re-engineered several times. The scene has changed since early 1993, not only has J 31300 lost its Breda overall livery in favour of the blue and white JMT Express colours, but two of the corners of the junction have been re-profiled to allow extra lanes to cut down on congestion at peak times, as well as a new traffic signal system. Plans are in place to widen a third approach to the junction, mainly to make it easier for buses on route 15 and coaches to negotiate the tight left turn from the Airport towards St Helier (ie. the opposite direction to which bus 63 is travelling).
