One of four Metroriders acquired in the late 1980s and originally bearing the legal lettering of U-Tec Leasing rather than JMT, J 70700 has operated most of its life as an overall advertisement for Top Personnel. These 33 seaters are the smallest buses operated since the 1968 batch of 3 Seddon Pennine IVs, and, unlike most "long" Metroriders, were built to the narrower width - amazingly, the wider Metrorider specification exceeds the maximum limit of 2,300mm. Number 3, looking filthy, is returning to town from Corbiere on route 12.
