JMT Dennis Dart, 1994

One of the first batch of JMT Darts is seen here in 1994 on its way down to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Department at La Collette to be registered as J 46XXX. Its identity is not known, although trade plates can be seen in the windscreen. No JMT routes operate along the road the Dart is about to travel down, however Swift 48 on route 19 alongside is about to pull in, not to the bus station like the majority of bus services, but to the bus stop on the photographer's right (out of the picture).
Both buses feature dot-matrix destination displays, which were fitted to the Metroriders, the Swifts and the first ten Darts. However later Darts have conventional manually-operated blinds with fluorescent yellow characters.
