JMT 14

J 33617

A rare sighting of bus 14 at the Weighbridge Bus Station in September 1999. Rare, as this had outlived the other 29 Willowbrook-bodied Fords in the fleet by some years, and lasted longer than some of the early Dominant buses. Its use is confined to school work these days, but it remains in fine condition in its original livery. When not in use, it is normally hidden from view in a shed adjacent to the former abbatoir, near the bus station. Now a quarter of a century old, surely a candidate for preservation?
