The sunlight and bus shelter obscure the white and black "Raffles" advertising livery that J 43063 and four other examples of the Ford/Wadham Stringer combination wore at the time of this view at the bus station, late 1992. Still wearing the FORD lettering on the front panel, 23 was like many other buses either in overall white or advertising livery at that time to receive the new JMT Express colours over the next two years, and over the winter 92/93 period was the regular vehicle on the afternoon return leg of the route the author had to use to get to and from school, even if pretty much anything went in the morning.
