| The Parish Church of Milton, SS Peter and Paul, Milton Road, dates from the thirteenth century, although it has undergone many alterations and restorations. It is in the Decorated and Perpendicular styles. The Registers date from 1558 for baptisms and burials and from 1662 for marriages. A short distance beyond, on the same side of the road, screened by a high wall, is a wayside chapel originally of the ninth century and restored by the late George Matthews Arnold. |
