Picture Page 5
On Saturday, August 10, 2002, we traveled southeast and spent the day sightseeing.  During the course of the day we saw 2 waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss.  We also saw a glacier, Snaefellsjokull.  Things that we noticed are that in Iceland there are no hand rails or rails along the edges of anything.  We also were surprised to find that glaciers aren't bright white and clean as depicted in movies, rather they are covered in silt.
