G-Men From Hell (2000)
mini-review

This straight-to-DVD film was based on a spin-off of Mike Allred's Madman comics. As you might guess, two G-Men (Tate Donovan and William Forsythe) are killed and are sent to Hell. They escape and attempt to do good deeds to make their way back to Heaven.

It was an interesting movie, especially to see the transformation of a comic to a film. But basically, it watches like an obviously-low-budget indie: plot, dialogue, character development, and direction are all lacking. There are, however, a few good extras on the DVD (commentary with the comic creator, comparison to the comic book).

Other actors you may recognize include Gary Busey, Paul Rodriguez, Robert Goulet, and Bob Goldthwait.

See it if you're a die-hard comic fan or independent film fan.

Don't see it if you're pretty much anyone else.
