O Lord, save my from my sin.

Tendrils of darkness envelope me,
Threatening to cut me off from You.
The consequences of my sin,
Shroud me in a fog, blocking You from my sight.

It wraps around me, suffocating me.
Chains of frost burn my arms and legs,
Imprisoning me.
The chill of the aftermath of my sin freezes me.

Warm me, O God,
Wrap me in a blanket of Your love.

Have mercy on me O God!
Relieve the pain caused by my sin.
Allow Your mercy to shield me from the results of my sin.
Protect me from my deserved fated,
O my Lord.

Your mercy lifts me out of the death I deserve.
Your grace gives me hope.
Thank You Lord for replacing justice with mercy.
