His Blessed Peace
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the World
giveth, give I unto you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14: 27.
God promises his peace will transcend our understanding and guard our hearts and minds in Jesus.
This is a wonderful promise. Just as his peace calmed the raging storm, it still works today in
our lives and hearts. We do not have to wait until the 'hereafter' to have peace, we can
experience this calm assurance of God in the "here and now".
In the midst of discouragement by the enemy of our souls, the Lord still speaks and says, "peace, be still."
The winds and the waves obey his voice and just one touch
of the Master's strong hand leads us on through this land.
We do not have to 'fret or fear' as Jesus is always near.
He keeps our hearts and minds if we will take our every burden and care to Him.
Worry has to flee when Jesus is in control. Having a calm assurance in our lives
that everything will work for good is a blessing. Knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord and has risen from the dead to reign forevermore makes life worth the living. We can have the fellowship
of His blessed Holy Spirit daily in our lives if we allow Him to be Lord of all.
As surely as the sun sets each day and rises in the morning, so will our Lord be with us.
When he went away to prepare a place for those who love Him, he left a heavenly peace
for his followers and the promise of a Comforter. The Promise came and his Holy Spirit
abides with us forever.
He is risen and lives forevermore, Hallelujah! We can be thankful in knowing we have one who not only loved us enough to give
his life for us, but guards our hearts and keeps our minds in perfect peace.
He loves to hear our praises of "Alleluia" as all heaven rejoices in
"praise to the Lord".

His Blessed Peace
His blessed assurance gives us a taste of heaven's glory,
The love he gave to us sweeps over our soul,
His words of promise and covenant of grace,
Guards our heart as the greatest story ever told.
No reason to worry what the future may hold,
When Jesus is Lord and Savior of all,
He unfolds each day and speaks peace to our hearts,
He is always there when on his name we call.
Peace for today and peace for tomorrow,
Peace has been sent by heaven's holy dove.
With his Word he guides us and in his secret place hides us,
Peace from the Father all because of his love.

God's Armor
Ephesians 6:10-18:
"A final word: Be strong with the Lord's mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against
all strategies and tricks of the Devil. For we are not fighting
against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil
rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty
powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.
Use every piece of God's armor to resist
the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will
still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy
belt of truth and the body armor of God's Righteousness.
For
shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you
will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as
your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan.
Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God. Pray at all times and on every occasion
in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in
your prayers for all Christians everywhere."
Keep the armor of God on at all times.
