He Chose Us
God's Message to a Dying World

"From from the very beginning God decided that those who came to him; and all along he knew who would --- should become like his Son, so that his Son would be the First, with many brothers.   And having chosen us, He called us to come to him; and when we came, he declared us "not guilty,"  filled us with Christ's goodness, gave us right standing with himself, and promised us his glory.  Romans 8: 29-30. (Life Application)

                          Good News of the Gospel

God's plan from the very beginning was that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.  Some say these verses meant that God had chosen only certain
people to come to Him before the beginning of the World.  This is not true as God is no respecter of persons.  God knew from the beginning who would receive Him or who would deny Him.  His purpose was not an afterthought, but was settled before the foundations of the world.  It was not his will that any should perish but that all be set free by the redeeming work of Jesus at Calvary's cross.  The Resurrection power that raised Jesus has also raised us up together as "new creations" and made us free indeed.  This is the good news of the Gospel for all.

Mankind is to serve, worship and glorify the Lord.  It was his purpose and intent that all come to repentance and salvation, but all will not do so.  He has created
us with a free will to choose life or death, and we are to "choose this day whom we will serve."  Each day we have a choice to put Him first in our lives  and should determine to do so daily.  Our choices today determine tomorrow's future.

God's plan is sovereign and this should be a reason for us to rejoice, having full confidence and trust in Him.  We should not have puzzlement or doubt as God has settled it once and for all.  His ultimate goal is to make us more Christ - like. (1 John 3: 2).  As we become more and more like him, we will discover 'who we are in Christ' and the person which he created us to be.  The most important  thing to know is knowing 'who Christ is within us' who is our hope of glory. His salvation has set us free.  Whom the Son makes free is free indeed.
There really is none like Him!

Blessings in Christ,

Once bound.......now free
Once blind.....now we see.
Once lost.......now found.
Once built on sand....Now on solid ground.

Now free......We clearly see
Salvation's plan.....for you and me
He died for all.....Who will hear his call?
Man needs a Saviour.......because of the "fall".

Praying always.....Interceding in his name,
Standing in the gap.....God is still the same
Today's the day.............to share salvation's plan,
Together we stand...... proclaiming freedom as "one new man".

His Grace is still amazing!
Christ Jesus....."The Solid Rock"
